We are looking for an Architect/Designer to join our team:

This position will collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Production Departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with other architects and specifiers.
  • Design, develop and promote StellarCraft products.
  • Identify items to be quoted in construction documents.
  • Identify and work to resolve problems.
  • Assist with proposals/budget development.
  • Analyze, compare, and interpret detailed and vaguely defined scope in construction documents.
  • Provide technical guidance to project staff and share expertise and knowledge within the team.

Required skills and experience:

  • Inventive, creative thinking, collaborative, and a readiness to learn quickly.
  • High proficiency at reading and understanding construction documents.

  • Work with project engineers and architects to interpret/resolve design and manufacturability issues.
  • Up-to-date on architectural trends in the industry
  • Must have strong attention to detail, and organizational skills, working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong basic computer skills and a competent level of experience in MS Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and work well in a team environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and must have strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.


Project Manager for Metal Fabricator

Astro Metal Craft is seeking a Project Manager for preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the assigned projects. You will see a wide variety of work over several industries. This position will collaborate with the sales, engineering, and the production departments to ensure product timing, quality, and customer satisfaction within the project. Previous experience in architectural and/or metal fabrication industry required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interact and translate external customer requirements to engineering, drafting and production.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical and/or timeline feasibility
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project information handoff sheet.
  • Ability to read construction and industrial prints and CAD drawing files.
  • Fill out RFI’s where necessary.
  • Assist in assigning responsibilities as required and schedule meetings to ensure the team is on track
  • Assist in ensuring drafting has the information required to create the submittals and fab drawings.
  • Create project schedules and communicate to internal and external customers.
  • Send Submittals to customers with cover letter with predefined timelines of when we need approval back to hit a specific delivery dates IE: 12 -14 weeks and follow up often.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding Quality, Sales and Service
  • Work with Shipping on scheduling project deliveries and Accounting on closing and Invoicing projects
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Required skills and experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s preferred

General Labor/Janitorial Position

We are looking for a candidate capable of maintaining the facility. The main responsibilities are cleaning and assisting the maintenance technician as needed for various projects. This position will also help wherever needed and able in the fabrication shop as production demands require it.

Main Work Activities (include but not limited to):

  • Keep building in clean and orderly condition
  • Perform routine maintenance activities
  • Sweep, mop or vacuum floors
  • Clean restrooms
  • Gather and empty trash

Other Work Activities (on an as needed basis):

  • Assist in fabrication work
    Operate fabrication equipment
  • Use hand or power tools, (hand grinder for de-burring)
  • Build crates
  • Package finished goods
  • Operate forklift to move material, parts, or equipment

Work Context

Requires standing and moving around throughout entire shift. Requires lifting up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally. Requires paying attention to what is going on with the parts and machinery. Requires being exact or highly accurate; may run several machines at one time. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment including steel toed boots/shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Pay range is DOQ, FT Position
Hybrid Schedule Day Shift M-Th




We are looking for an Experienced Welder to join our team:

Job Activities & Responsibilities

  • Custom Welder/Fabricator
  • MIG and TIG on Mild Steel, Stainless steel, and Aluminum
  • Layout according to shop prints
  • Must be able to read weld symbols
  • Grinding and weld finishing
  • Operate other fabrication equipment such as press brake, shear, saw, machining center, sanders, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidate will need to complete a weld test by assembling mild steel sheet metal components according to a print.
  • Welding certification or equivalent experience desired

1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday

2nd Shift: 12:30pm – 11:00pm Monday – Thursday

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour
