Astro Metal Craft offers precision CNC machining services to support our full range of custom metal fabrication work. Our state-of-the-art machining equipment ensures consistent precision and production efficiency.
Our machines includes:
- VF-11 (Haas) Vertical Machining Ctr – large-format machining center with 120″ × 40″ × 30″ X/Y/Z travels and a 120″ × 28″ worktable, supporting workpieces up to 4,000 lb when evenly distributed. The machine is designed for precision fabrication of large plates and blocks.
- VF-10 (Haas) Vertical Machining Center – Large-format CNC milling with a maximum travel of 120″ X, 28″ Y, and 20″ Z, ideal for machining oversized panels, frames, and structural components.
- VF-4 (Haas) Vertical Machining Center – Highly versatile for medium-to-large parts requiring complex contours, multi-axis drilling, or high-speed profiling.
- Haas SL-30 CNC Lathe with Bar Feed – Designed for efficient turning operations and consistent accuracy in cylindrical and rotational components, with automated bar-feed capability for continuous production.
- LeBlond Manual Lathe – A manual engine lathe used for precision turning, facing, boring, threading, and other secondary machining operations. It is well suited for one-off components, custom fits, repair work, and applications requiring skilled operator control.
- Bridgeport Milling Machines (2) – Manual vertical milling machines used for precision drilling, milling, slotting, and contouring of smaller metal components. Their adjustable spindle and table provide flexibility for custom parts, secondary operations, and low-volume machining.
- Spartan IW66D Ironworker – The 66-ton hydraulic ironworker is equipped with dual cylinders and 5 workstations for punching, shearing, and notching metal components. It provides a 12″ throat depth, 7.5 HP hydraulic drive, and capacities including punching up to 1-1/16″ through 3/4″ material, 14″ flat-bar shearing, 5″ × 5″ × 1/2″ angle shearing, and 1-1/2″ round and square bar shearing.
- Marvel 380A – vertical band saw designed for high-volume, precision cutting of structural and bar stock. It features automatic indexing, programmable controls, and mitering capabilities up to 60° left and right. The machine provides a nominal 15″ × 20″ cutting capacity at 90°, with variable blade speeds of approximately 60–400 ft/min.
We also provide tube bending and plate rolling services
- Ercolina EB76 Tube Bender – A 3-axis CNC tube bending machine equipped for mandrel bending applications and tube diameters up to 3″. It provides controlled, repeatable bends while helping maintain tube geometry and dimensional accuracy on complex components.
- Faccin 4-Roll Plate Roller – A 5′ four-roll plate bending machine capable of processing material up to 80″ wide and 3/8″ thick. Its prebending capability supports efficient forming of cylinders, cones, and other rolled geometries with reduced setup and handling requirements.
